CONCEPTUAL ART
In I Love my Life no Matter What* Michał Żak explores the external forces that have shaped his existence - the good, the bad, and the ugly - heritage, religion, national identity, and politics.
In his bleakest period, Michał Żak could only see the world in lines. Cutting and rearranging images and ideas in a way that made sense to him while in the grip of depression, he produced over two hundred stripe artworks before burning half of them.
