Memento Mori
The cult of youth has become a product of modern society. The omnipresent picture of idealistic beauty of the human body as portrayed in commercials is only a graphical illusion. Society is completely ignoring and neglecting the natural aging process.

Our body ages faster than we think. From the age of 20, the number of nerve cells in the human brain decreases. Our skin starts to age naturally in the mid-20s, causing fine wrinkles and thin, transparent skin, even though first signs may not be visible until our mid-30s. Before we get to the age of 30, our bones and muscles will have weakened, our lung capacity decreases and male hair loss begins.

Just like fresh exotic fruits and vegetables, humans are under the inevitable impact of time passing by.

Everybody looks young for a moment, but few of us will stay beautiful forever. Memento Mori.
